Wooden Dog Puzzle - Dachshund Jigsaw Stress-Relief Gift (107-201 PCS) โข
- About This Product
A dachshund in wood - the long dog given the premium irregular-cut puzzle treatment that this particular breed has always deserved. 107 to 201 pieces depending on the variant, all of them laser-cut from basswood plywood to produce a finished portrait that is worth framing and displaying in the home of anyone who has ever loved a dachshund.
For dachshund owners who want the most beautiful representation of their dog's breed, for puzzlers who want a subject with genuine warmth, or for anyone who has spent time with a dachshund and understood that this is a dog with a very specific kind of personality that deserves to be celebrated properly.
The irregular-cut pieces are what make this puzzle a different experience from standard grid-cut jigsaws. Each piece has a unique shape, so there is no shortcut of sorting by edge type or using piece geometry as a guide - you work with colour, pattern, and the image itself. The finished dachshund portrait is printed on laser-cut basswood plywood with crisp detail and sanded, splinter-free edges, making the completed puzzle a display piece as much as it is an activity.
Who Is This For
Dachshund owners and enthusiasts who want a beautiful representation of their favourite breed will find this puzzle emotionally satisfying in a way that generic animal puzzles simply are not. Puzzle enthusiasts aged 14 and up who want a challenge that rewards patience and attention will find the irregular-cut format engaging from start to finish. Adults looking for a screen-free, mindful activity that produces something worth keeping will find this fits that need well. Gift-givers shopping for dog lovers, puzzle fans, or anyone who appreciates home decor with personality will find the Dachshund Puzzle lands as a genuinely thoughtful gift.
Safety & Age Guidance
Recommended for ages 14 and up. All pieces are laser-cut from basswood plywood with smooth, sanded edges - no sharp points or splinters under normal conditions. Keep small pieces away from children under 3. Work on a flat, stable surface to prevent pieces from sliding or falling. The completed puzzle can be framed with a standard A3 or A4 frame depending on the size selected.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the M (107 piece) and L (201 piece) sizes?
The M size produces a finished puzzle measuring 11.1 x 7.3 inches (28.2 x 18.5 cm) from 107 pieces - a good choice for first-time irregular-cut puzzlers or as a gift where a shorter completion time is preferred. The L size produces a finished puzzle measuring 15.3 x 10.01 inches (38.8 x 25.57 cm) from 201 pieces and offers a longer, more involved solving experience. Both sizes produce the same dachshund portrait image at different scales.
Can the completed puzzle be framed and displayed?
Yes - the finished puzzle is designed with this in mind. The M size fits a standard A4 frame and the L size fits a standard A3 frame. Many puzzle owners use a puzzle glue or adhesive sheet to fix the completed puzzle before framing, which keeps all 107 or 201 pieces permanently in position for display.
